Part two of my show preview: Leo du Feu, in his own words....
"The natural world is my focus. I'm fairly obsessed with birds. Landscape and nature drive me artistically and personally. As much time as possible is spent outdoors. Working in the landscape is the best way to really see - you're sitting still for an hour, or two, or five, and you notice so much.
I use watercolours on sketch trips as they're quick and spontaneous and so portable for travel by foot, bike and train. I'm supported by ScotRail in my ongoing Scotland by Rail project. My blog is the main outlet for this work. Sign up at online to read the words and see the sketches.

My newest book is a showcase of my drawings, paintings and writings and I hope inspires others to discover and appreciate Scottish landscape and nature. Appreciation comes with understanding and combined are the only way we can protect and conserve the amazing variety and beauty of nature that we're so lucky still to have here."
