![]() First of all: credit where credit is due! A huge thank you to Pauline Lam and her daughter Orla who went waaaay beyond the call of duty by setting my till up this morning, then proceeding to serve drinks, cut sandwiches and cake, wash up, clear up....we are just so grateful. ![]() And of course a huge thank you everyone for coming and making the day so successful and memorable. My mouth is tired from smiling and talking; so many people and such fun meeting them all and catching up with others. Here I am feeling very short between Stephen McLaren and Karen MacDonald (painter and textile maker). ![]() Stu fighting his way through the hoards, who all descended pretty early, catching me still labelling art. Trying to talk to everyone and feel you were giving them some attention was really really hard! Hope we managed to see you all!! ![]() Another helper; there were so many of you who gave support in one way or another. Senja Bownes takes on coffee and washing up duties. (Orla still working away too...) ![]() And here's a taste of what everyone came to see; the back gallery after the day was done and most of the dishes.. ![]() The end of the day... nearly time to let it all sink in and get onto the next chapter. ![]() With just a wee reminder of where it all began. Day three, the third of April. Comments are closed.
