The traditional Bon P travelog following our usual summer break; this year to Copenhagen (and a visit over the Oresund bridge to Malmo). We flew with Easyjet from Edinburgh, which was very simple and quick, and stayed at a fab apartment in Fredericksberg. What a difference a week makes... having time to relax with no real agenda, just exploring a very lovely city with extremely friendly and attractive locals! So many beautiful corners and streets to explore; the city is a bit of a maze of islands, canals and winding streets, but also some really lovely open spaces and wide vistas. Art and design well represented with many smaller and large galleries, the Design museum and Louisiana museum of modern art up the coast. We only scraped the surface of what was on offer. Cycling, of course, everywhere. Great day out to the Amager Strand, overlooking Oresund. Very bird friendly city too! Geese in Fredericksberg Have. Ing in clover: this one sums up the week for me! Thank you Stuart for making me look a) happy and b) young!! Over in Malmo, my first visit to the mother/fatherland. A few more pics to enjoy in the slideshow below! If anyone is interested in visiting, we are more than happy to recount our adventures and recommend our AirBNB accomodation! We are now back open as normal, Wednesday to Sunday, 9-5, closed Monday, Tuesday. Comments are closed.
