Despite a number of friends, family and regular customers coming to see us today, I managed to get in some quality easel time and finish off the commission I have been working on this month:
'Beatriz and the Sea'
It will sit on the easel for at least another week while I tweak things and Stuart tells me to stop - he's always right so I have learned to listen!
Four other small painting sales today, so all in all a very productive day; and our new cranberry and cinnamon cake went down a treat, especially served warm with creme fraiche. It's what winter was made for!
