Joe Broadley PAI and his wife Gaye will be taking over the 'back room' for the rest of June and most of July! Our wee summer break falls in the middle, so the gallery will be closed from Sunday 8th - Thurs 12th July (back open on the Friday).
I'll keep reminding... don't want anyone left on the doorstep!
This is Gaye's silk painting of the Edinburgh National Gallery.

Hope to see some visitors this weekend - the city seemed to be filling up last night, reminding us that before we know it the Festival will be upon us!
We missed out last year as we were so new, and the action seemed largely centred on the Old Town. It will be interesting to see if the newly opened Assembly Rooms bring visitors over 'our way' and of course what a difference a year makes...

Last but not least... we have a new experience for our customers this Sunday - from 2.30pm James Radcliffe, a very talented young musician, will be playing live blues and jazz in the gallery.
Hoping to make this a regular spot, so please watch out for confirmation of further dates for SUNDAY BLUES!
